Williams state it was "humiliating" to miss two days of pre-season testing in light of the fact that their vehicle was not prepared.

The Williams, driven by Briton George Russell, at long last made it on to the track at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on Wednesday - with multi day and a half left of the four-day test.

Debutant Russell was thirteenth quickest.

The 21-year-old was eight seconds off the pace set by Toro Rosso's Daniil Kvyat, who - after a late keep running on the quickest tire - pipped Alfa Romeo's Kimi Raikkonen by 0.058 seconds.

Williams included: "We're not simply frustrated. It's humiliating not conveying a race vehicle to a circuit when every other person has figured out how to do that, especially a group like our own that has figured out how to convey a race vehicle to testing for as long as 40-odd years."
